Traveling to Florida any time of year is a good choice, but winter offers some cool events and a wonderful break in the cold weather for most folks. Whether you’re a seasoned traveler or it’s your first time heading south during the winter months, a few travel tips and tricks never go amiss. That’s why our team at Sea Gardens Beach and Tennis Resort is sharing three questions you should ask before you travel this year.
1. How’s the Weather?
The weather in Pompano Beach in the winter months is warm, humid, and reasonably dry. December is one of the coldest months of the year in Florida. But, since “cold” in Florida means temperatures in the high 70s, you’ll still be able to enjoy the beach while you’re here. December is also one of the driest months of the year in Florida, which means your plans aren’t likely to be rained out.
2. Is It Busy?
Another question you’ll want to ask yourself is how crowded the area is going to be. Florida is a very common place to visit during school breaks. So, we see our highest tourism rates around Spring Break, Fall Break, and Christmas vacation. December does tend to be a bit busier because of the holidays, however, we think you’ll see the most crowds in the bigger cities. If you prefer to avoid crowds, we recommend planning your trip after the holidays when school has resumed.
3. Where Should I Stay?
We are more than just your standard hotel here at Sea Gardens Beach and Tennis Resort. We provide a variety of unique rental options, so you can be sure to find one that meets your requirements. Our resort communities are brimming with activities to keep you occupied and entertained, from private, romantic hideaways for couples to family-friendly suites.
